Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data LOGBOOKAIR collects on logbookair.com and in the LOGBOOKAIR app at logbookair.eu, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is Antonios Pitsiladis, trading as LOGBOOKAIR, Agia Varvara, Plomari, Lesvos 81200, Greece (VAT/AFM 076977962).

For any privacy question or request, email admin@logbookair.com.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.
  • Your logbook: the flights, simulator sessions, aircraft, crew names and other records you enter or import, and the PDF logbooks you create.
  • Files you import: logbook and roster files you upload or email to us. LOGBOOKAIR does not connect to your airline accounts; you export these files yourself.
  • Subscription and billing: your plan, payment status and invoices. Stripe processes card payments; we receive confirmation of payment, not your card number.
  • Messages: what you write to the LOGBOOKAIR Agent, our support team or our email address.
  • Service log: actions in your account (for example signing in, importing or creating a PDF), with your IP address and browser type. We use it to keep the service secure and working, and to help you when you contact us.
  • Measurement, only with your consent: see Cookies and measurement.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To provide LOGBOOKAIR (your account, imports, logbook, PDFs, the Agent, backups and subscriptions): this is needed to perform our contract with you.
  • To issue invoices and keep accounting records: a legal obligation under Greek tax law.
  • To keep the service secure, fix problems and answer support requests: our legitimate interest in running a reliable, safe service.
  • To send service emails about your account, imports and subscription: performance of our contract.
  • To measure our website and adverts: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. Your logbook records are never used for advertising or analytics.

Cookies and measurement

Nothing is measured until you choose in the banner, and Reject all is always available. Your choice on logbookair.com also applies when you continue to the app.

  • Essential (always on): remembering your choice and keeping you signed in to the app.
  • Analytics (if you allow it): Google Analytics and our own statistics measure page visits, video plays, button clicks and the campaign that brought you. They do not receive your name, email address, licence number, files or flight records.
  • Advertising (if you allow it): Google Ads and LinkedIn measure which adverts lead to sign-ups and subscriptions. When you sign up or subscribe, Google Ads also receives your email address and name in hashed (scrambled) form, so it can match the sign-up to the advert you saw (Enhanced Conversions).

Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: . In the app, use Cookie settings in the menu. Withdrawing deletes what measurement stored in your browser.
